EdO (Alfredo Mommarelli) was born on 6 May 1962 in Perugia, graduated at the Galeazzo Alessi High School in Perugia, he graduated in Architecture at the Florence University.
He loves to call himself “Material Imaginator”.
He cames to the graphic arts just in September 2016, after having experimented theater, music, fashion, electronic processing, television and cabaret for cognitive purposes: from these experiences and with a distinctly three-dimensional vision due to his designing architect’s spaces, he pours into the works the summary of one’s life feeling today.
In them (all on wood and painted with acrylic colors) coexist the most varied materials, even recycled, used in an peculiar way.
After the personal painting exhibition “Senza Rete” held at the Artemisia Gallery in Perugia from 18 February to 11 March 2017, he immediately turned his attention to the full three-dimensional.
The “Cortinarum Vela” exhibition, always held at the Artemisia Gallery from 20 January to 24 February 2018, is the result.
After a short break in Siena, he has been living in a wooden house in the middle of a forest in Umbria since 2021.
